The southern chamber did this for fried chicken in 2018 to promote southern culture and tourism. Was a great success.

I will accept "Missouri" in the official wording to include St. Louis (which is decent), but let it be known that KC BBQ is the greatest, not only in the region, but in the world.

Not trying to offend you, but i assumed KC BBQ was referring to KC Missouri, not KS, which is why I said Missouri. KC was the style to which i intended to refer so feel free to kanoodle with the wording. Im not a Kansas expert.
