I'm not necessarialy asking about the most Republican/Democrat places, where tons of people just vote that way because everyone does, even if they disagree with large parts of the partisan agenda.  I am more interested in places where large percentages of the population are super ideological in their views.

Based on my perceptions. I kept it to large counties, as there are likely many small ones that could be listed (especially for Conservative).

Liberal
Tompkins, NY
Suffolk, MA
Chittenden, VT
Dane, WI
Washtenaw, MI
Travis, TX
San Francisco, CA
Orange, NC
Washington, DC

Conservative
Montgomery, TX
El Paso, CO
Washington, WI
Harrison, MS
Utah, UT
Kenton, KY
Canyon, ID
Forsyth, GA
Horry, SC

Well, it's complicated of course. I'd describe somewhere like Orange, NC as "liberal" but if you want most and least left-wing it certainly wouldn't be in the top 10 counties.

Left-Wing:
-Kings, NY
-Philadelphia, PA
-Multnomah, OR
-Oglala Lakota, SD
-Bronx, NY
-Hudson, NJ
-Suffolk, MA
-DeKalb, GA
-Hampshire, MA

Right-Wing:
-Montgomery, TX
-Cherokee, GA
-Forsyth, GA
-Williamson, TN
-Greenville, SC
-Randolph, NC
-Sumter, FL
-Carroll, MD
-Shelby, AL
-St. Tammany, LA

Disagree. Counties that are majority-minority are the least ideologically liberal counties in the country.

Wisconsin is politically polarized that two of its counties happen to be the most liberal and conservative in the country.

Surely Multnomah, OR and Boulder, CO have to be added.  Multnomah might be tops other than San Francisco.  New York, New York and Montgomery, MD are also good candidates, depending on what flavor of "liberal" you want.

Lancaster, PA, perhaps.  Drifting left at the moment, but many of the ones listed are doing the same since, if they're large enough to be prominent, they're probably suburban of some flavor.  Warren and Butler in Ohio, perhaps.  Ottawa/Allegan in Michigan.

And surely King, Washington and New York, New York should be on this list as well, definitely ahead of Orange, Washtenaw and Travis and, in the case of New York, Suffolk and Dane.

Also, depending on what we're calling "liberal", where are the Bay Area counties? Literally all of them except Solano and maybe Contra Costa...

Tester got 3 times the vote clinton got in garfield. It is just a populist county not comservative.
