To be fair, she should suffer the same punishment as Hillary.
None.

OK, but we need to go through "the same" process, right?
We need every single new House Committee (with Dems in charge) to have hearings and investigations on this for the next two years. And after that, some committees may have new questions or concerns, so they need to then re-open the investigation again.
Then after all this bulls**t .... I mean serious work .... we can read 16-1/2 different investigation reports on the matter.
Then Ivanka can be exonerated.

With the exception that should she ever run for office, we may need to go through the entire process again just to make sure nothing was missed.

But of course. Excellent point Virginia. Thank you.

And several years of Congressional investigation. Amarite?

Edit: Put much better by Proud Moderate and Virginia.

The silence in response is deafening.

Don't forget the bit where the hardware for her personal email server needs to be turned over to the FBI before she can truly be exonerated.

Without any investigation, we can say without question that her emails didn't contain any sensitive material so stop asking.

When she is SoS and doing this vs just being an aide let me know. Can’t believe no one can figure out why the Secretary of State should have different security violation rules than an advisor or aide would. Ivanka isn’t dealing with top secret information constantly as part of her job. Oh, and nothing happened to Hillary either.

Love the attempt though mah dudes.

Ivanka has security clearance. How do you know what she’s emailing about?

Shouldn't you be off conspiring with murderous heads of state or failing on the D.C. social circuit, or something, Jared?

I don't know if you know this, but Ivanka isn't just an aide, she's also the Presidents daughter and speaks with him on a daily basis. And we know her emails contained the whereabouts of senior government officials. If the wrong people had gotten access to her emails, half the cabinet could've been taken out.

But yes, not as serious as Hillary deleting emails asking someone to fix her photocopier.

Deflection 101. Ivanka Trump doesn't have at least as much influence and Power today as daddy's little girl in a presidency for whom loyalty and family relationship is everything, as Hillary Clinton did as Secretary of State. The difference is minut if at all.

She has no important role at all. Apart from knowing everything the president does, meeting all the world leaders and their staff, and sitting in high level G meetings.

If that was Hillary, you'd be screaming for multiple FBI/Congressional hearings.

We should really drop the outrage at Republicans being unprincipled cartoon villains. Expecting basic cognitive functions or human decency from them just sets you up for nasty surprises.

If she has top secret classified information on it, then she can share a prison cell with Hillary.

Just like clockwork.

Bitter, negative, perpetually angry clockwork.

Jfern needs some Preparation H to deal with his chronic butthuttery.
