Let Gwen Graham do it and Gillum can run for Senate against Rubio.

maybe don't run the big time loser?

I can see beto as his loss was impressive but Gillums was a disaster.

How is coming within a point or two a disaster?

Because it was in a D+8 year and his opponent was Ron DeSantis.

Nikki Fried and Stephanie Murphy running against DeSantis and Rick Scott in 2022 would be a winning ticket.

I don't know. What I do know is that he will win by a point and run for President in 2024.

gerrymandering DUH
Desantis gets 3 new conservative justices who will barely follow the fair district amendment. Unless Murphy gets a better amendment she is screwed come 2022 being in a light blue albiet trending blue district.

I could see a 9-18 gerrymander or whatever depending how many districts FL has in the 20s.

Any R gerrymandering will be counterbalanced by CA, NY and Pa. So, if TX and FL tried that, Dems will retaliate

first of all PA is neutral
CA is independent commision.
NY sure is gonna be gerrymandered anyway.

Orange county has Latinos in it, so the seats Dems gain, are probably gonna stay Democratic, hopefully it gets another 1-2 seats there in So. Cali.

I'm actually not sure if Republicans will draw her out after the 2020 census, since she'll just run for Senate or Governor in that case, and they certainly do not want her running for a statewide office in 2022.

Andrew Gillum, Gwen Graham, Stephanie Murphy, Nikki Fried, Chris King, Philip Levine, Dan Gelber, Patrick Murphy, in that order.

Florida Dems actually have a bench for the first time in my life.

Nikki Fried or Stephanie Murphy. Gwen Graham's beef with Rubio is already poising her for a Senate run. Hopefully she won't pull a Gwen Graham and ignore half the state.

Stephanie Murphy, Nikki Freid, or Chris King.

Graham should run for Senate.

Freid would be good. She seems like a solid progressive but without the FBI issues Gillum sadly had (I dont think there was much substance to them, but voters don’t care for substance).

Murphy can run for Senate.

I don’t want Gillum to go away, but I don’t know where he can go. Hopefully FL-05 opens up soon so he can get some Congressional time before he runs statewide again. He isn’t even 40 so time shouldn’t be too much of an issue.

I'd rather have Fried stay in the position she is in, I could see Stephanie Murphy running for Governor, Patrick Henry (my former state rep) is interested,

Gwen Graham in recent weeks sounds like she is gearing up for a run against Rubio (they hate each other).

Dan Gelber and Phillip Levine as well.

My money is on John Morgan relenting. He’s the only decent FL Dem with a chance.
