The Castros aren't good candidates, especially Julian. Julian doesn't even speak good spanish and he is hispanic!

She has poor judgment if she thinks a Senate candidacy would be better for her than a TX-31 rematch
I'd prefer Julian/Joaquin but I disagree about TX-31. Cruz won that district so it's more like TX as a whole at this point.

God why didn't Castro run? Probably because the slime at the DSCC pushed him to not run so they could run a mushy middle dem like Hegar instead. Ugh

Still will be very competitive, toss-up

In 2022 I think you might see maps where Dems win Williamson but not Tarrant. In Tarrant dems rely more on hispanic turnout, which dips during midterms.

Good stuff. I was getting worried after they endorsed all 4 Republican judicial candidates.
Not surprising. Trends descend slower down the ballot. They are just warming up to the democratic party

Dems should give Royce West the Sestak treatment if he ever runs for statewide office again.

I still have faith in MJ Hegar. We absolutely need 55 seats folks.

Apparently 97% of eligible voters in Travis County are registered to vote in the upcoming election which is obviously excellent news.
