Also, Cornyn has similar approvals to Cruz (albeit Cornyn is a bit more unknown)

Kim Olson and Justin Nelson are decent, I don't think you should run any people who ran for House for the Senate seat, have them run again in their house seats as some may actually win this time given how close things were (except in TX-24, don't run her again please Tongue )

If you think Cornyn will win by double digits, you probably think Trump will too. I think they should be tied within around 2-3% of each other. Cornyn is not "popular" so much as he is unknown despite being a Senator for so long, just rather uncontroversial.

I continue to say this race will not be more than 2-3% apart from the Presidential race. Most Texans do not have a strong opinion on either Cornyn or Hegar, they will vote for the R or D based on how they are voting for President.
