I think Hegar is finally consolidating a lot of those potential "Biden/Cornyn" voters this week.

Shifting this one from Likely R to Lean R

The late Bloomberg $$ could do all the difference here.

So? Given TX's massive amount of registered voters who usually never vote, there's clearly still a lot of untapped potential, esp for Dems

Chuck Schumer's PAC just dumped another $4M into this race for Hegar and Future Forward is spending more $$$ too. That + Bloomberg money could bring this together for Hegar.

For Biden and Hegar. She's now trying to pick off votes in the remaining electorate that is mostly either Republican or unengaged.

I'm mostly surprised that a GOP politician would even care enough to lie about this, given how they & much of their base tend to disdain higher education these days.

In a vain bid to try and imitate the suburban NUT maps of David Perdue, which requires winning many moderate soccer mommies

Why would you lie about something that doesn't even help you and can only hurt you if the fact you lied comes out?

Cornyn seems to be flailing lately. If there was ever Biden-Cornyn support though maybe it is already banked. Hoping for an upset in this race.

Unlikely, early voters are more likely to be hard partisans. DFP (I think?) poll a few days ago showed Hegar matching Biden among those who had already voted.

At this rate, it looks like we'll have Trump-Hegar voters.

It looks like the lie originated in an earlier campaign in the '90s, when the GOP hadn't completed its Palin-Trump White-Trash-ification Process.

This race leans R but not safe R it is one of those states that an upset can happen like AK, KS, MT and SC.  But IA and GAR are tilting D for sure

Note how Cruz basically got his final percentage, if Cornyn gets 48%, I don't think he wins

I mean, it kinda makes sense. This guy has been fighting for Democrats in the Texas trenches for decades and just as his state is finally turning blue some rando who's big political accomplishment is losing a house race beats him in a senate primary. Not that he shouldn't be 110% behind Hegar anyway.
