Democrats usually win this county in semi-close races, but it voted for Trump on 2016. However, it did split its ticket and vote Murphy for senate, and now it votes for both Nelson and Gillum by 3.5 points.

It would depend on the 2020 outcome, but at this point, I'll say that it was likely an aberration.

Probably a sign of things to come down the road, just like Democrats still win Elliot, KY or the GOP mostly win Orange, CA still...but by far diminished amounts compared to before.

I think Elliott County, KY is done with the Democrats, like virtually all of Appalachia is, due to the growing urban-rural divide.

I'd assume that Orange County, CA can still be won by more mainstream Republicans, but after the tiny tangerine tyrant leaves office, I doubt the party purges itself of Trumpism; if anything, it'll just get crazier than it already is.
