MSNBC Anchor and former congressman Joe Scarborough was briefly considered a candidate before he declined any interest in running and even left the GOP last year. What if he entered the contest and been the Republican nominee? I think he may have beaten Ned Lamont. Thoughts?

As a nutmegger myself, I feel that Scarborough would win narrowly due to the fact that we love NBC here, so as a anchor he could use that name recognition. But, assuming Lamont is still the Democratic candidate, it would be very close.
