Also, there are myriad examples of societies where the notion of individual property rights has no purchase. Peasants in Russia had a communal system. This type of ownership system is not that uncommon. We see some hunter-gatherer societies where basically all objects are viewed as being communal, even if some personal objects are like property. The Western Australian Government just had a budget surplus of $6 Billion from Iron Ore royalties, but normal people cannot afford to buy a house or rent a property. The rental market is just absurdly tight and therefore, expensive. The rental market is simply corrupted.

After failing to find a home, this woman then moved to the country and they live in her car 75km away from where he goes to school for the simple fact that she has to avoid male predators at night near the town.

A GoFundMe page raised $20,000 and they got a rental, but it should have never gotten to this. A country is rotten at its core when this happens.

A Western Australian family has suffered a cruel twist of fate on Christmas day.

Mum or Dad rolled the family car and both died from their injuries on Christmas day 10km short of their farm at 4-5am in the morning. Most likely swerved to avoid a kangaroo.

The context you are missing is Hillarys is a bit of a swanky area. Not elite like Cottesloe in the golden triangle, but very up-and-coming upper middle class. The nightclub in question is literally at a yacht marina. They don't want working class eshays from the KGBs (Koondoola, Girrawheen, Balga) coming in upsetting their regular patrons (snorting sons and daughters of lawyers and accountants).
