Turns out Australia has a cat problem.

https://www.awe.gov.au/biosecurity-trade/invasive-species/feral-animals-australia/feral-cats#:~:text=Feral%20cats%20are%20the%20same,grasslands%2C%20wetlands%20and%20arid%20areas.

Australian native animals facing extinction thanks to feral cats.

In some conservation areas, cats will be captured, hunted and killed regardless of whether they have a collar.

In Fremantle, Western Australia, cats found on council property, verges, streets etc will now earn their owners a $200 fine.

That means 24 hours a day, the cat must remain on your property. If the cat is unregistered, than it's game over for Puss Puss.

Looks like the only place left for cats is Facebook videos.

Australia will try and phase out cats by 2030 in certain regional areas.

Man attacked by Kangaroo.

https://www.perthnow.com.au/news/australia/shocking-footage-shows-moment-man-stomped-on-by-kangaroo-in-ballina-c-6987789

SPOILER

The Kangaroo gave a good account of itself, but the old boy took advantage of the inherent zoological imbalance of the beast.

Say hello to the highest paid fast food workers on the planet.

Take-away franchise 'Chicken Treat' workers will be offered $130,000 p.a. to help with managing the South Hedland store in Western Australia.

https://www.smartcompany.com.au/industries/hospitality/chicken-shop-labour-shortages-businesses/

That means 2 managers will be employed at a total cost of $260,000 as each will be on an 8 day's on, 6 days off roster flying from Perth.

The $130,000 does not include managerial bonuses or flights and accommodation whilst in South Hedland.

Apparently, the locals go nuts for take away chicken.

'Chicken Treat' was made famous during WA Inc. days in the 1980's when Labor Premier Brian Burke use to go through the Drive-Thru and receive paper bags full of cash in exchange for real estate development deals for associates, one of whom owned 'Chicken Treat'.

Premier Burke liked the Deluxe Chicken Burger with extra Mayo so to speak.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-06-25/food-prices-in-remote-northern-territory-communities-skyrocket/101160112

1. Cigarettes - 2 * 40 Packs - $140
2. Two Cartons of Victoria Bitter - $120

The cigarette shop they don't sell "The Will to Live".

Manly Football Clubs players refuse to play with Gay Pride jumpers this weekend.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-07-25/nrl-manly-facing-player-revolt-over-pride-jersey/101268552

Normally not a big deal, but these islander players believe homosexuals are an affront to their religious beliefs.

Car wait times in my neck of the woods.

https://pricemycar.com.au/delivery-dates

286 days wait for a new Isuzu.

Those wait times are yet to reverse in trend.

As a result, some second hand Toyota's in Western Australia sell for over $200,000.

The skimpy tradition is under threat.

A clash of tradition vs corporate culture.

Pauline Hanson unloads on Greens Senator Mehreen Faruqi.

Mehreen's comments about the death of Queen Elizabeth II were clearly misplaced:

"I cannot mourn the leader of a racist empire built on stolen lives, land and wealth of colonised peoples."

Pauline Hanson replied:

"Your attitude appalls and disgusts me. When you immigrated to Australia you took every advantage of this country. You took citizenship, bought multiple homes, and a job in a parliament. It’s clear you're not happy, so pack your bags and piss off back to Pakistan."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/09/14/commonwealth-realm-republic-canada-jamaica-australia/

Senator Jacqui Lambie agrees:

Whatever, "go back to where you came from" is almost always racist or bigoted in intent.

Problematic Girlboss Jacqui Lambie is hereby UNSTANNED until she gets her act back together, presumably by getting a new boyfriend who satisfies her enough that she doesn't have to make dick jokes 24/7

What sticks in so many non-extreme progressives and even moderates craw is her obnoxious "I won't be silenced!", reminding us she's an adult version of the school sneak. When we all know that she'd swiftly end up like Benazir Bhutto if she *was* still in her homeland and *didn't* stay silent.

This is more often a device of the snowflake right whenever they are challenged tbh.

Anyone from the Left who uses the term "snowflake" should be forcefully reminded what the Fatahs, Ortegas, Bolivarian Republics etc. that western activists happily back purely because they are are anti-USA, actually do to their own people.

And anyone on the “Left” trying to defend Hanson in any way arouses immediate suspicion.

(And no, I don’t want to see your ALP membership card from 2004 again)

I don’t think anyone would seriously claim Pakistan is a progressive country but surely it’s not difficult to see how someone with Pakistani heritage might not want to mourn the British monarchy. Would you ask Congolese people to grieve for a dead King of Belgium?

Your closing statement there actually has some validity.

So maybe critics of the "anti-colonialist" position on the UK monarchy should emphasise that, rather than indulge in silly rhetorical games.

Spare me the usual socialist bogus false equivalency games.

I wasn't for a moment drawing any equivalence.

So, in other words, political dinosaurs.

the real dinosaurs are the proponents of a reheated version of pre-1914 laissez-faire capitalism.

Capitalism - private property, production for profit, free exchange and free trade - is how human societies naturally behave when they are free from state control.

What constitutes "profit" in a hunter-gatherer society?
