The current results map seems, odd. Evidence that we are entering a big realignment?

Connecticut (and other NE states) have never been afraid to elect Republican Governors. That Lamont pulled it out after being a horrible campaigner and Malloy being super unpopular.

This isn't so much who is up or down but where they are up and down.

Lamont is under 50% in Hartford county and losing in New Haven, meanwhile Fairfield is Lamont's best.

Not what I would have expected.

It looks like the lion's share of precincts left are in New Haven. I imagine Lamont should hold on.

Some states will just continue to elect the same party regardless of the statewide economic and political conditions.  How many more years of crappy Democratic rule can they stand, especially as the economy lags behind the rest of the country? I understand it went very bad for Rowland in his final term, but that was a long time back.

Yeah, Fairfield is quickly becoming the Democrats best county. It's full of rich financiers.

Remember when Politician mocked us for saying the anti-Trump #resistance in Fairfield County would ensure Lamont's win? lol
