I feel this is a positive step forward for our relationship with the Kingdom of Cambodia, and it makes sense to forgive it, in my opinion, due to the circumstances in which the loan was made. This is, however, a unique exemption due to the circumstances, and that is clearly stated in this resolution. I am glad to sign it.

Statement on the Situation in Alaska


          Good evening, my fellow Atlasians. As you likely know, today a small group of Alaskans led by dfwlibertylover have declared their independence from Atlasia. This movement, and its leaders, can not be allowed to succeed. I am currently working hard with my cabinet, the National Security Council, and regional officials to preserve and protect our union. The reports of a 5000 man army under this group's command are false, and I urge those in the area to remain calm. I stress that this insurrection is not backed by the vast majority of Alaskans, whom remain loyal to the union and not to this small secessionist group. To the leaders and members of this group, I call on you to cease your actions rather than risk violence and the grave consequences it would bring to your fellow Alaskans and Atlasians. As a nation, we must remain united against any force that wishes to destroy it, and tonight I ask you to join me in calling on the secessionists to back down.

Our workers of all professions have been struggling for too long, and this allows them to finally get what they badly need through collective bargaining without fear of punishment. I enthusiastically support this and will sign it as such.
