Good evening, my fellow Atlasians.

I have with me today good news on the North Korean Civil War. The Allied powers have received a formal peace offer from Beijing. Of course, I can not divulge any details, however we are advancing negotiations in a serious manner. The National Security Council has debated and decided what actions to take next. We are also consulting the other allied powers in hopes for a rapid response to this treaty. We are committed to our allies, and we will stand by them as we pursue peace in a united manner.

I am extremely encouraged by all of this, and my hopes are that we can finally negotiate peace with Beijing soon.

Statement on the End of the North Korean Civil War

          Good evening, my fellow Atlasians. I have recently gotten word that Xi Jinping has signed an accord we and the other allied powers sent to him, and that the conflict is finally over. Exactly one year ago, this conflict started, and since then we've seen several administrations attempt to solve the crisis. I believe in pragmatism in foreign policy, which is why my administration attempted to find the best solution for both us and our allies, while remaining realistic and reasonable in conduct. I ask the Senate to approve the treaties recently introduced as soon as possible to help finalize the peace process. I must thank my great National Security Council, for helping guide this process, our great allies, for their sacrifice and great strength they lent to this war, to Secretary Lumine, for his unending work to find a solution to the conflict, and finally, and most importantly, to our troops in Korea, and especially those who lost their lives in this conflict. Let us take a moment to remember those brave souls, who sadly could not come home.
















          In closing, I am glad we have come to an end to this conflict, and although this peace is not formal yet, I hope that more innocent lives will not be lost. The result, and a newly democratic North Korea gives me hope for the future, a future where peace and democracy prevail, and those who caused reigns of terror, like Kim Jong Nam, are brought to justice.
