Probably CBS, since I don't have cable to watch CNN or Fox.

I'll have TV on CNN and MSNBC, and will switch back and forth whenever there is a commercial on one of them. I may occasionally check in on FOX to see what they are saying.

I'll also have my computer set up with about 10 different windows with 100 different tabs open to different results sources.

And most importantly, of course, I will be breathlessly checking for the Wulfric projections. If it comes down to it and I don't have time to keep up with all information sources simultaneously, I'll ignore everything else and focus entirely on the Wulfric projections.

Once I get back from the movies (I've come to not be able to take the election night stress), I'll probably stick to MSNBC. Will flip to FOX if the night is really good for the Democrats (like they flip the Senate or something).

This, and I guess Atlas unless it’s a D tidal wave. And of course MSNBC if Republicans are having a better than expected night.

Probably be following both 538 and NYT on my computer, while watching CNN, flipping over to the Fox News and MSNBC during the commercials.  Probably more of Fox News if the results start looking good for the Democrats....

On television, my preference is PBS. I also compare various internet sources to make sure I have the latest returns and track individual races as I choose, including NYT, FiveThirtyEight, Politico and CNN.

NYT, 538, various twitter feeds....last time I watched TV for an election was 2000...usually the pundits and talking heads are so far behind the actual vote counts and not paying attention to specific districts or races that it makes watching unbearable

Question!

So I have a laptop that I plan to hook up to my TV via HDMI cable, so that I can have CNN on to see the results, BUT, I want to use my laptop to surf thru Atlas, NYTimes, etc.

Is there I way I can have CNN going on my computer in a minimized window but have it still appear on the TV screen? While it's minimized I want to be able to scroll around atlas or whatever but I don't want to see atlas on the TV, I want it to remain on CNN.

I'll probably follow the results online on either Politico or NYT. Most of the cable news coverage or "analysis" is trash but I might turn on Msnbc if the Republicans are having a good night

Probably CNN and Fox (both online). Not sure if I can stomach listening to pundits that draw insane conclusions over imaginary trends as the results come in--I can just get that here.

Okay, you're relatively new. Just so you know, if past is precedent, this forum will go down shortly after the first polls close and be down for roughly 24-36 hours.

Anyway, it helps to have a desktop, iPad, and iPhone. I can keep multiple sites open on different devices (probably NYT, CNN, 538, and certain twitter accounts). And of course, like any good liberal, I watch MSNBC (they also have the best election music).

Oh you know, I’ll be watching all kinds of media to get my election results.

*Yeah but name one specifically*

Oh on election night, I’ll be on that homie, comfy sofa of mine probably looking for those all important election results watching that lame, mainstream, got-cha! liberal media with all that fake news and all that other un-American politically correct hog-posh and stuff!
