I thought you wanted people to stop comparing Atlasian parties to U.S. ones?

Well, when we are trying to figure out how a certain county would vote, then I suppose we might just use U.S. election returns to guage thoughts in those counties....

Also, Emsworth chose a left-leaning running mate, not a libertarian one.

I don't think Q is all that left-leaning.

Another reason why the LP is a bad comparison: Emsworth would outcampaign and outfundraise Badnarik by a 300 to 1 margin.

Flip flop, you consistenly have said you'd have voted for Hoover in 1932, you can't just change your answer with the excuse that you have now figured out to use hindsight.

Emsworth has rejected the Libertarian party as too extreme, so comparing him to Badnarik is irrelevant and inaccurate.

What is Q then?  Are we talking about the same Q that voted against CAFTA?

Don,

Seeing as I'm the only vote from Bucks Co...(green)...why am I not in Dubya blue?

I can change my answer any time I want.  I don't need your permission to change my position.  The more I think about it, the more things I find to like about FDR.

Emsworth has rejected the Libertarian party as too extreme, so comparing him to Badnarik is irrelevant and inaccurate.

He can reject the Party as too extreme all he wants.  Doesn't change his ideology.  Michael Badnarik is a Constitutional scholar too Tongue

I know a lot of right-wingers who are hardcore against CAFTA.  That's not a right/left issue.

I'm not going to argue about this map anymore.  I spent several hours of time tonight on it coloring in each county and trying to make my best judgement as to how groups of real-life voters would vote if they were given the choices that we have here.

If you don't like it, then I encourage you to make your own perfect one.

Well of course you have changed your position; you've become a socialist.  Just saying it's rather inconsistent of you.  Why not change your avatar already?

His ideology is not as extreme as you so desperately want it to be, sorry.

He voted against CAFTA based on the liberal reason; that it would outsource jobs that are essential to the manufacturing industry.  Nice question dodge by the way.  So now what is Q?

We're not arguing about the map anymore.  Now what exactly do you define Q as?  Extreme anarcho-capitalist?

Dubya would take most of MS, with LiberalPA winning in the Delta, I think.

It's Mike Naso all over again, but without the offensive quotes.

Given the ideological complications of this election, this may have only limited basis in realtiy - but I thought I'd try:

Interesting map. Some very nice little details here and there... reminds me to start working on one again...

I think its an excellent map Don, and you certainly put a lot of time and effort in.  One thing though - I live in Montgomery County, not Hamilton County, and yet I wouldn't mind winning a few more Ohio counties than one anyway. Wink

Don't worry. I'm going to make a map too of course, and Jesus will win counties in at least 2 states. Probably some more Smiley

Jesus would sweep most of the South, simply on name recognition alone. Wink

As far as NM goes, you'll find it hard to stretch it to more than 2 (Taos, Santa Fe). Pretty much all of the other normally Democratic counties is Tammany Hall territory.

St. Louis county and most of Northeastern Minnesota would not vote Joe, they'd go LiberalPA or Supersoulty going by what you think of him (which I disagree with) Joe would NOT win the entire Twin Cities metro. Ramsey would vote for LiberalPA, Hennepin might go Joe because of the Minneapolis vs. suburban deal, Dakota, Anoka and Washington would probably all vote for Joe, but Carver, Wright, Scott and Sherburne would vote for Emsworth or Dubya. Supersoulty would win most of western Minnesota, and definately would win Nobles, which I have no clue why you have it going Dubya with the counties to the east of going Joe.

Oh what the hey, I'll make my own Minnesota map. Coming up.
