Whilst I wish this group the best of luck, I will decline to join at this point.

Having given it some thought, and believe me I did, I've also decided not to join the Coalition at this point.  However, I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

** Reese approaches podium to 'Float On' by Modest Mouse**

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.

I am running for the Vice Chairmanship of this fine coalition for many reasons. For one, I agree with its principles. Atlasia is suffering from a deep partisan divide. Almost every election ends with a battle over votes, and the campaigns are also almost always negative.

Another reason that I request your vote is the fact that I am Chairman of the Progressive Caucus. As Vice Chairman of this coalition, I will work to improve relations between all groups in Atlasia. I will work alongside Ben Meyers and Frodo to help bridge the divide between conservative and liberal, populist and libertarian. I, as chairman of the nearly-defunct New Generation Caucus (only because there have been very few newbies, which I would also work to end), will also incorporate some of that caucus's principles into our own.

Finally, I'd like to note that I will work to get members of all parties to join, whether they be members of the ACA or SDP, the CUP or CDP, or the ILP or AMRLP, or just plain independents.

I'd like to thank you for you're time, and I wish good luck to my opponent, the Honorable Cosmo Kramer.

Voting will begin tomorrow at 8:00.  If I am offline because of Wilma, I ask that the Interim Vice Chairman, Max Power, preside over and manage the voting.  Thank you.

I'm too much of a radical to join a centrist coalition.

Winds starting to pick up and some rain is headed over, but I'll open the vote.

Please vote in this thread, and I ask for Interim Vice Chairman Max Power to close voting after twenty four hours and to count the votes.

Please put an X next to the candidate you support for each race.
