Here is the link http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,119217,00.html

Fox has included a survey of the battleground states in this poll. This poll is much more positive for Bush than today's gallup poll. Everything stays right around the margin of error though.

30. Do you think most Democrats are happy with John Kerry as their party’s presidential nominee or do you think most Democrats wish they had selected someone else as their presidential nominee?

Got to love these kind of bias questions Smiley

31. Do you think most Republicans are happy with George W. Bush as their party’s presidential nominee or do you think most Republicans wish they had selected someone else as their presidential nominee?

This is laugable Smiley

Actually, I 100% totally disagree.... it is an excellent question...

It is actually fairly standard to ask a "temperature" question of this type to guage the enthusiasm each party has vis a vie their own candidate.  Especially in a close race the name of the game is turnout, and how positive the "base" feels about the candidate is of vital concern.

Democrats are +40 on Kerry (63/23)
Republicans are +77 on Bush (84/7)

It is not biased in any way as they ask exactly the same question both of Bush and Kerry (if you want blatently biased questions read the CBS poll)

I would guess that some of those questions are aids for assessing approval ratings, since the ratings are bizarre. Bush stays almost exactly the same (in limbo fairly below Clinton/Reagan but well above Carter/Bush Sr.) and Kerry's approval and disapproval both drop. I guess if people start to regret one of these guys being the nominee, then the bottom really is falling out.

Part of this Kerry all of a sudden being unknown again (well, among 15-20%) might have to do with the fact that he has not yet put forth any specifics whatsoever. Maybe they have forgotten about him! That's probably what he's hoping for and it might be because of the recent bio ads. Who else could erase 3.5+ months of a campaign and just start over?

With the way Rasmussen has been going of late I figured it would be Kerry up 3 in Fox.  In the margin of error like the last 3 Fox polls.

Last 3 Fox polls:

Bush 44 - Kerry 41
Bush 43 - Kerry 42
Bush 43 - Kerry 44
