Singapore and South Africa, no Caribbean countries? Doubtful.
If it didn't include the UK, I'd just say all these countries are former British colonies.

yes and no...you're pretty close; but there was a reason I included only these countries...

Lewis-I excluded colonies, only fully independent nations were included...

Bahrain almost made me ignore the hunch; I didn't know Asia was able to have 5 qualifiers.

Spain and Turkey wouldnt be too happy about not qualifying-will they?

It's likely both will qualify, but if they don't, you're right, they won't be happy.
They can join Ireland in that particular club.

It's likely both will qualify, but if they don't, you're right, they won't be happy.
They can join Ireland in that particular club.
And Cameroon, South Africa, China, Russia, Nigeria...

Spain are playing Slovakia, Turkey are playing Switzerland, btw.

the answer was reasonably simple-countries with over 50% of the population speaking english either as a first language or fluently. Singapore just squeezes in, with 52%
