I'm attending a royal garden party :/

I'm interested in hearing the "greatest hits" (so to speak) of how it goes.

I'm worried about bowing. I have sciatica Cheesy

Yesterday I got to thinking about how funny it is that I'm considered like, super elitist and "anti-worker" and all on Atlas when I'm actually probably one of the few examples of someone living a WWC lifestyle in rural Appalachia that actually exist on this website.

Like literally I live in a poor ass middle of nowhere TVA county where chickens and cattle probably outnumber humans 10 to 1 and like half of the adult population seem to have some sort of substance abuse problem.

So it's sort of funny when people on here try to lecture me about the hardships of the WWC lmfao.

@ the Lufthansa lounge at BOS waiting for my flight to Zurich. Watching a Speedbird A380 taxi by. No brand represents freedom to me more than BA. (But Club World sucks and Heathrow T5 is a zoo!)
I would say something smartarse, but willkommen in Zürich!

This is the view from my apartment yesterday lunchtime. Gonna be honest, I like where I live

Thanks. Zürich is indeed spectacular, and far less boring than Geneva. Looking forward to making regular trips here over the next year.

Maybe it's a sign that the actual Appalachian WWC perceive things differently than coastal Atlas users want to believe they do 😂

Yeah we want them to wake up and spot gunning against their own interests, but most of them stab it right in the back anyways, we are aware most of them are even worse in their beliefs than you.

I took my crush to the beach yesterday (90 minutes away from Tally!) and we had such a good time that I decided I’m taking her to the mountains near Asheville/SW GA on a whim. She’s down, I got the funds, and we’re heading up on Friday.

Would you guys quit bookkeeping if you had the opportunity to become a car salesman? Like good idea or no?

Yeah, I'd at least be making about what I am now, even if I didn't get great commission at first, and my hours would probably be better too.

However I still want to become a stockbroker/CFP later on and I don't know which skill set between bookkeeping or sales would make me more attractive to a brokerage.

Idk. Hard decision.

My friend was a car salesman for a while ... personally, would not recommend.

Have fun. Asheville is such a lovely place at this time of year! Okay, okay it's always quite nice, but still.

In London for the World Cup.

Flew BA from Zurich to London City, in business class. Supper time flight, they didn't even load a meal for me, and didn't even serve me drinks until they'd served the rest of the business class cabin. Even the economy cabin had snacks and drinks before I was offered anything. Outrageous, especially considering I booked a D fare, which is a very expensive fare bucket. ($450 one-way for a 1.5 hr flight, which is a lot for a market where LCCs sell the same flight for 1/10 of the price.)

This is why the only European airlines I've grown to trust are Lufthansa, and to a lesser extent, Swiss. They're not the best, but the planes are clean, the food is okay, and the staff are professional, well-trained, and can be relied upon to deliver a consistent product. BA staff have personality, and I like the brand, but you sometimes get some terrible flights.

Hopefully the flight back to Switzerland (also on BA) in a couple days will be better.
