I most wholeheartedly concur with PiT.
I would just like to make it clear, I object in the strongest possible terms to us endorsing Matthew27 for the House. He is grossly unfit to hold office and does not belong in the Atlasian House of Representatives. The fact that we are even considering endorsing him, quite frankly, beggars belief.
If we endorse him just because no one else asked for our endorsement then what's next? Pericles, or Zaybay, or MAINEaic or Adam Griffin receiving our endorsement just because they had the audacity to ask for it?

No one is obligated to receive our endorsement. Conventions are for this purpose but in the absence of previously spoken objections, it was reasonable to expedite the process. I would note I gave an extended period even in which people could object to so proceeding.

For one thing, all Federalists are auto endorsed so unless more than one candidate seeks an office a vote is not held for them. This is long standing bylaw, if we want to change that we can do so here in this convention.

So we are talking about a narrow range of nominations here, that of non-federalist endorsements. If there is a strong objection to us nominating a candidate, if we are to follow a process, requires that a nomination be considered and then rejected, which is what we have done here.

It would be pretty funny though.

I'd like to thank the Federalist Party and all the delegates for considering endorsing a member outside your party. I hope to continue to serve all Southerners valiantly even without your endorsement.

Fillinovich has been a great supporter of the TM agenda, even without the endorsement I encourage Federalists to give him a high preference!!!

At the urging of several people, I have decided to run again for Chair of the Federalist Party. In the last election we did many things well in terms of turnout and unity. We turned out 94% of our valid members and we did not have a single defection. However, we are in a different environment, one in which every vote matters and thus even such record breaking performances are not enough to secure victory. To remain competitive we need to not only maintain such high turnout levels, but we need to improve them.

We also need to get people engaged both new and old so as to reduce the number of invalid voters since almost ten of our people were not even eligible to cast a ballot in this election. The only way to combat that is to get people involved. We are already starting the process of engaging with our members and we need to go beyond what we have done in the past and aggressively encourage our people to get involved, to run for office and to bring both ideas and legislation to the table especially when they serve in office.

We also need to assert our positions and our mainstream values and principles to both give our people a reason to turn out and vote, but also to remain within the boundaries of a competitive playing field and maintain our unity going forward. This is a delicate balancing act to bring both the passion of an energetic advocacy for values while at the same time remaining a mainstream force that can bring conservatives and right of center people together, but it is one that I am very familiar with and one that we have excelled at in the past.

No one person can deliver this party back to the White House, but together as a team we can achieve that hurdle and win back the White House, the Congress and the Regions for Federalism (Yes Lumine, I am steeling this phrase Tongue).

Oh, by all means. Having spoken on the need for a more coherent mindset or narrative I'll be the first to applaud if a more relevant vision takes hold as the "Federalism" mindset. I certainly hope a spirited debate will take place!
