I can't believe I would actually root for Cheney, but if it were a choice between her and Lummis I would. Cheney is, well, Cheney, but Lummis is a five-star conspiracy theory believing nutcase. There's a reason she had tough elections in 2006 and 2008 in freaking Wyoming of all places ( and no, other districts equally Republican did not face such challenges even in those wave years).

Oh f*** off. I readily admitted I mistook Cynthia lummis and Barbara cubin for some reason.

Considering some of the crap that's posted on this site nowadays, you'll probably have to do a lot worse than that, lol.

Kavanaugh assaults women, perjures himself repeatedly about it, and is rewarded with a lifetime seat on the Supreme Court where he can deny justice to women and victims of sexual assault for 40 years, and we have to put up with “Kavanaugh’s a victim” and “don’t be mean to Justice Ginsburg by bringing up the perjury!” narratives? No thanks.

Never thought I would see the day of inoffensive American mods spewing outright lies and garbage like this.

Any surprises? (Yes, Iowa, Kansas and Texas is going nuts, i know)

This is no prediction. I know this is very unlikely to happen, although I however believe TX is going to behave differently than most of the other states.

Folks need to seriously worry about Trump voters hanging up on the polls.  Every time I see one of these in a blowout Trump 2016 state, it makes me suspect that all those Biden +5-10 margins we keep seeing in the major Midwest swing states are skewed several % by nonresponse bias.

The new thread title has to be one of the most tasteless attempts at humor that I've ever seen on this site. It's about as "funny" as  if someone renamed the thread "Dave Leip's Archive of Autists and Retards." Disgusting.

Agreed. Absolutely disgraceful.

He's way too pro-Israel to qualify as an "anti-Semite," as low as Jewish support for the GOP may be.

The federal government sometimes needs to intervene when rogue states with dictatorial governments such as California are abusing their power to pursue tyrannical policy initiatives.

When the Right talks about states' rights, we're usually talking about states granting greater freedom to their citizens or protecting freedoms that the Federal government is infringing. Not states taking away freedom and oppressing their citizens as California does.

This is lower-quality writing than the Turner Diaries.

Dude you know it’s true though.

Republicans would reject a modern day Jesus.

I mean, I'd reject him too since OG Jesus wasn't the Messiah.

I vaguely remember that user saying he was Jewish, so it makes sense that he doesn't see Jesus as the Messiah. Not to mention many other religions and secular people think the same way as well, so it is hardly an "absurd & ignorant" view.

Yes and I would consider the views of all such people to be absurd and ignorant too. And also the views of many Christians too.

It's not "absurd" or "ignorant" to be anything other than a small-o orthodox Christian, even though small-o orthodox Christianity is true. Christianity is a revealed faith, not a self-evident fact.

For example I could easily see outlawing of older media deemed “problematic”, destruction on a mass scale of old and even ancient works deemed “problenatic” (think for example a mass destruction of all movie negatives made prior to 1980). Christian churches would be outlawed or subject to heavy censorship. Racial based re-distribution of property forced by gunpoint would be common and legal. Acts placed upon @enemies” would make Soviet Russia look tame in terms of ostracizing them and eventually disappearing them. The world of the future wherein millennial leftists gain power is a nightmare world that would make 1984 seem quaint. We will face the biggest loss of all cultural heritage of all time simply for revenge’s sake.
