Mr. Chairman, Mr. Ford, Secretary ReaganFan, fellow Atlas Forum citizens:

I have decided to withdraw from the presidential race. I think that John Ford has what it takes to be our first Republican president. I urge all of you to support him by any means possible.

Thank you, God bless you, and may he look over the Atlas Forum.

I thank NixonNow for his endorsement, and hope he will continue to stay active in fantasy politics.  He has a bright future.

No, i'm still pretty sure you would have got stomped.

Nothing personal, just June wasn't they month for the Republican Party. The new UAC had taken away a lot of Super's old support nad no Republican (including "Mr. Centrist" John Ford) could have won with Gustaf in the race.

I also feel that if John Ford had been nominated for President last June and he picked another moderate as Vice President, there would have been a third party run from one of the Atlas Conservatives.

PB, I recall you pressing me for the Vice-Presidency. This was back when I was leading Nyman in the polls, remember that?

I actually would have accepted the Vice Presidency from any GOP Candidate (with the exce[tion of John:) ). I'm not saying you would have done poory, i'm sure you could have done well. The UAC took too much support from the GOP last June.

(BTW even if you had won the nomination i'm sure Nym would have creamed you and your expected Vice President, Reaganfan).

My choice for Vice-President was either John Ford or you, PB. I never intended for ReaganFan to be a part of my administration.

My appologies. I wrote up a fairly lenghty history of that election and I made a typo that you would chose Reaganfan, i'm sorry.

I think the main problem with PB's history was I was hinting at a run for the Presidency early on. I had been winning in head to head polls against Nym and my only real competition in Primary polls was John and NixonNow. I then decided not to run after it was clear that my politics no longer fit that of the Republicans so I went to the UAC.

I still have screen shots of those polls lol
