Yeah, clearly he’s going to do five points better than Jacky Rosen. Sure.

Wow O'Rourke is finally leading a poll. I'm treating it with some healthy skepticism for now, but it's an important piece of data to throw in the averages for later. If we get a few more of these I think this race could reasonably be called a tossup.

Well, Ipsos isn't the most reliable pollster. Just look at their Nevada poll too.

Still I bet this will be circulated and be used to highlight the Senate race will be a tossup.

It's nice to look at, but that's about it.

Color me VERY skeptical. Then again, whose to say that some people will get out off their fannies and others will simply say  "Darn! I now there was something I was supposed to today!" on election day? You never know.

Taken in conjunction with QPac suggests a 4-5 Cruz lead, which fits the general vibe of the race

I'm skeptical, but I may consider this a Tossup if another poll comes showing O'Rourke leading.

With Cruz at +4/5 you'll get a poll showing Cruz +9 and a poll showing Beto +2, nothing unusual...

What a week.

We're in terra incognita with Texas having a competitive Senate election for the first time since 2002 (and even that was wishful thinking by Dems) and with the party coalitions turned halfway upside down, so this much volatility in results makes sense. It wouldn't surprise me to see Cruz win by 9 OR lose by 2.

This poll also comes to show that whoever has the most money, usually wins.

Sampling period way too long. Unreliable data.

Pretty garbage methodology on these Reuters/Ipsos Senate polls; not surprising given what we see from their GCB polling.

Ethics have a lagging effect and the Kavanaugh ethics has caused even Cruz to be in a competitive race

Well O'Rouke isn't Wendy Davis in one sense: Davis never led in a single poll. That this is a likely voter poll is more good news for O'Rourke.

The ONLY poll that matters is the poll on November 6th.

If Beto wins, I'll believe it IF I see it
