HHH and the Dixiecrats have an... interesting relationship, to say the least, considering 1948 and 1968. If Humphrey gets the Dem Nomination in 1956, would the Dixiecrats have revolted no matter who the GOP Nominee was, be it Nixon or Eisenhower, or would they hold their tongue?
