You are giving way too much thought to an obviously craptastic poll.

Democrats can win Oklahoma. The fundamentals point to a close race and Stitt is a very bad candidate.

Dems aren't losing CA, but Newsom is in the same boat as Rahm Emmanuel, not very well liked among minorities, except in SF.

One of the "fundamentals" of Oklahoma is that it routinely votes Republican by 30-40 points.

And what's so bad about Stitt? He seems like a generic Oklahoma R to me, which is an improvement over trash like Inhofe and Trump which Oklahoma has no problem electing in massive landslides.

With two candidates for Senate on the ballot, California Democrats are complacent and will stay home in November; allowing energized red-wave California Republicans to put Cox into the governor's mansion! /s

True story.

Mary Fallin has an 11% approval rating in the reddest state in the country, and Kevin Stitt is very similar policy-wise.

While were here and because I have nowhere else to put it:

Since 1967, California has had two Governors born in Illinois (Reagan and Wilson), two born in New York (Deukmejian and Davis), one born in Austria (Schwarzenegger), and only one born in California (Brown).

The next governor will either have been born in California or Illinois.

The key is FL, if Latinos are voting for a Black as Gov, CA is similar and Latinos who aren't comfortable with Newsom, who is Rahn Emmanuel lite, will be tolerated

Newsom will not only easily win, he will do better than Hillary Clinton and win the white vote by a wider margin than Clinton.
