All right, the AFC currently has:

Eastern Division:

Massachusetts Income Tax
Toronto Kings
Montreal Voyaguers
Ottawa Lumberjacks
Northeast Miners
Atlantic City Soldiers

Western Division:

Maryland Filibuster
Greendale Gorgons
Pittsburgh Soulties
Detroit Fumble
Dayton Fridge Magnets

Even if Joe and 9iron wish to keep their teams, we will be a team short.

Joe is out. We could do a ten team league if 9iron stays in.

I did PM him.

It'll still work with 10 teams, 8 vs. division, 5 vs. other division and 3 vs. randomly selected team. Or we could have an 18 game season where everyone plays everyone else twice.

Once we finalize the AFL teams.

The draft will go as follows. NFL teams will be selected whenever the owner posts. However, it is not first come first serve. Whichever team had the worst record gets preference. So if I pick the '96 Bears, but Master Jedi does too, he would get them, since he was 10-6 and I was 12-4 last season. Teams that were used last season cannot be selected.

I guess I can move the draft over here now.

CFC Draft is now here.  The order for the draft will be as follows:

Each team will be given 24 hours to pick a team that will simulate them for the Spring 2006 season.  If you do not respond in 24 hours, the next team in the lineup will get to choose and you will not get to choose again until after all teams after you make a selection.  Good luck and think before you pick! Wink

Barrow Freezers, your 24 hours starts now.

Thank you, Barrow.  2002 New Orleans Saints may no longer be selected.

All right, 9iron is in, so we have a 10 team league unless I get 2 more owners fast.

Northern Division:

Massachusetts Income Tax
Toronto Kings
Montreal Voyaguers
Ottawa Lumberjacks
Northeast Miners

Southern Division:

Maryland Filibuster
Greendale Gorgons
Pittsburgh Soulties
Detroit Fumble
Atlantic City Soldiers

Ask some of the people playing fantasy football if they want a little team.  Smash or Tredrick might be vaguely interested.

I'd like to buy a second team, if no one else does.

I'm thinking about setting up in Vermont or Rhode Island, and making a highly offensive team just for the fun of it (say the Fightin' Whites or the Ho's or the Injun's or somethin'). Cheesy

EDIT: wait, i've got an even better idea. Have a team in Paris. France, and make them the French Cheese-Eaters or maybe the French Wine.
Or what about the North Korean Hair Nazis (probably played outside of North Korea, but whatever...), the Tehran Fightin' Ayatollahs, ... that's it! I'll call my team the Newport Ayatollahs... or maybe...?

*bump*

King do you PM the people when they are on the board?

That is probably a good idea.  I extend Sequoia's time by 12 hours on this technicality. Tongue

87 Redskins are retired as Shenandoah used them already.  1988 49ers it is then.

Ben Meyers has IMed me his pick just now.  With the 4th pick in the AFL Spring 2006 Draft, the Florida Voters select the 2004 New England Patriots!

2005 New England Patriots, if they've already been picked the 2004 New England Patriots.

2005 Season is still in play meaning you can't select the 2005 Patriots and 2004 Patriots were selected by the Florida Voters.  Please make a new selection.

Ugh!  I meant to say 2004 Patriots or 2003 Patriots.  I always get mixed up because the superbowls in January and the rest of the season is in the year previous.  So, gimme the '03 Patriots.   If they aren't available, '02 Bucs.
