Assuming that a Democrat gets elected President in 2020, who is your pick to be the new AG?

I personally like Doug Jones to be the next AG but anyone on that list is 100% fine with me.

I would say it's likely that the next AG is a Republican. Mike Lee, maybe? Sessions is gone after November, given that Republicans keep the Senate majority.

As for the next Democratic AG, i'd like to see Lieu or Swalwell.

Jones is a pretty solid and likely choice if he doesn't win re-election or isn't picked as a Vice Presidential candidate.

The next Attorney General will be Rudy Giuliani, because Trump is going to fire Sessions, and only Giuliani will be willing to end the Mueller investigation.

As for who the next possible Democrat to serve as Attorney General will be, I'll say either Preet Bharara (he'd probably want the job) or Kamala Harris (if she isn't on the ticket), with a slim chance of it being Joe Biden (remember he was once chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee...).

I think in the next Democratic administration, Bob Ferguson, our state AG, would be an excellent choice for Attorney General.
