Donald Trump/Mike Pence (R) - 48.1%; 311 EV
Kamala Harris/Jeff Merkley (D) - 45.4%; 227 EV
John Kasich/Bill Weld (L) - 6.1%; 0 EV

They have to win Florida and North Carolina and keep the rest of the States they had in 2020 in order to pull off a win.

Kasich 3rd party eats into the Romney-Clinton voters, ie nominal Republicans disgusted with Trump rhetoric. Harris as Dem nominee means the Berniebros stay home even with Merkley on the ticket so turnout overall is down. Basically a repeat of 2016 but worse. In 2024, Dems would need to either run a progressive to get those fringe voters, or a moderate to get the Kasich voters.

For 2024 bringing the Midwest back into the fold and keeping Arizona under hold would be a good Democratic strategy. In this scenario the only SunBelt state that looks good for Dems is Florida.
