Is he Caesar from the recent 'Planet of the Apes' movies? Actually, that's an insult to Caesar, he is certainly smarter than our President.

I'm entirely sick of this man.  This is not how an intelligent person writes and this is just insensitive beyond belief.

Even if the economy does recover, Americans are not going to forget being quarantined in their houses for weeks or even months. And keep in mind, I'm someone who is consistently skeptical about the American public's ability to remember anything.

AOC Plus Three sounds like a children's picture book about the evils of socialism that MAGA supporters read to their toddlers.

My sincerest fear is, not that we recover from the Coronavirus pathologically and economically sooner rather than later - - I'm all for that * 1000. But rather that people will be so relieved this fall that life returns to something equating normal and the economy goes through a temporary post Coronavirus boom that Americans having increasingly demonstrated the political memory of a goldfish will forgive and forget the absolute self-serving uncaring dumpster fire of a klusterfuk the Trump administration's handling of this entire matter has been, be thankful they're back to work and get the kids back to school for the moment, and reluctantly give him another electoral vote majority.

Not only would this suck for me to see as a progressive, but it's a small businessman I have serious pessimism about the economy for the first couple coming years of this decade, not to mention almost guaranteed recurring flare-ups of coronavirus and related societal shutdowns. I would have cordingley want Joe Biden in charge of handling such obstacles literally 1000 + x more than Donnie Caligula.

I cannot possibly imagine why Mr. Trump is so focused on the hospitality industry.

What the heck is up with this "Invisible Enemy" stuff? More attempts to paint himself as a "wartime" president?

It creeps me out because it's similar to how Evangelical churches I went to would phrase stuff

This is just a virus. It's a very bad one, bit there is no mind behind it, coordinating attacks or choosing which cities to go after. Framing it in this way rhetorically makes the virus seen more intimidating and terrifying than it already is.

"is only way for me to escape the Fake News & get my views across"

A great man for saying what many of us were already thinking - that these press briefings are just campaign rallies for him, since he can't host traditional ones anymore. They also have the bonus of being aired almost in their entirety - at least they were for a while - by the networks because in between complaining about his political enemies, he throws in some guest speakers for COVID-19.

On an unrelated note, one of the things I'll always love about the Donald is how stupid and impulsive he is. He has created so many issues for himself just by virtue of being unable to just shut up and not blurt the quiet part out loud. We're talking about the guy who basically admitted, in A LIVE TV INTERVIEW, that he fired his FBI director to shut down an investigation into his administration. Any other president would have managed to not say that. But not Donald! In a way, we are blessed (and cursed... much more cursed, actually).

Originally Trump started out with "CoronaVirus", the actual name of the virus, but for some reasion with a WikiWord-style spelling. When things got worse he decided to change it to the more xenophobic-sounding "Chinese Virus", but as we all know that caused some backlash. "Invisible Enemy" is more politically correct, but it retains the dramatic effect - even though it now makes Trump sound a bit like a character from a 1930s serial. Occasionally, he also uses to use the pretty simplified "The Virus".

Why he seems to be unable or unwilling to simply use the actual name of the virus and/or disease (e.g. "Coronavirus" without the Wiki spelling or "COVID-19") is beyond me, but maybe it's just his way of trolling us.

Maybe he should stop focusing on the Democrat Primary and put his attention on the national emergency of a pandemic that will kill one hundred thousand plus Americans.

Folks, Trump's enemies are apparently conspiring to sabotage the President's enormous TV ratings:

Also, please call me when the Invisible Enemy offers his unconditional surrender (including the payment of reparations of course):

We're in for a long election filled with passive-aggressive concern trolling aren't we? Seriously, most Sanders supporters already seem over the primary. If Trump was a person capable of doing anything properly he would be focusing on competently addressing this national crisis. Obviously he is not, and never has been, that sort of person.

For one day, the WaPo should attribute everything to "many people say", while the Times should explain how their sources came to them and said, "Sir, I just have to tell you..."

Does the WSJ usually mention the ratings of Presidential briefings?

Huh, what does this even mean? Is he asking *why* he's working "to expose the corruption and dishonesty in the Lamestream Media"? Or is he asking why "the Lamestream Media" is "corrupt" and "dishonest"?   Huh

Also, a statement like "I'm working hard, which is easy" is an oxymoron, isn't it?
