Nothing establishes that you're sane and honest better than screaming that your critics are insane and shouting your catchphrase.

Yes, Mr. President, run your re-election campaign exclusively against the media instead of the Democrats next year. Don't even bother campaigning actually, just tweet.

Does anyone even know what the Wicked Witch of the West Wing is going on about here, or should this tweet just be moved to the dementia thread?

There's a lot of overlap.

That's why, if Trump loses next year, Elton John has to perform at the incoming Democrat's inauguration. Really twist that knife! Then, Trump will change his tune towards the musician pretty quickly.

It was only a matter of time before he lost it completely:

editing post to add: looking at his twitter this morning, he really has lost it. President Cuckoo pants. (This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. That he regularly paints himself orange was a pretty strong tip-off that he was crazy.)

This is gibberish. Mr. Trump is mentally ill to the point of incapability, and the establishment - Republicans, Democrats, and the  Fourth Estate alike - refuse to acknowledge it. (And for the record, Germany's negative yield bond auction failed.)

Don't hold your breath for Republicans to write this off. Just look at the latest example with Greenland. Trump on little more than a whim that would shock Louis XVI and it's grandiose Notions, decides to try to f****** by Greenland from Denmark. The most outlandish pharaoh like self aggrandisement conceivable with no basis in reality whatsoever.

When to no one's surprise but Trump's the thing falls apart and makes him look like a fool yet again, Republicans don't repudiate or even question his Fitness for president, or even just write it off as a necessary evil for having this particular conservative owning the White House for them, but instead wholeheartedly jump on board the annex Greenland Express which, again, has no basis in reality.

I wonder how many votes it would get hypothetically in the House or Cocaine Mitch's Senate.

I suspect Russia will survive.

(Sheer chance, of course. Mr. Trump's positions as a Russian money launderer and Putin groupie have nothing to do with that. Nothing at all.)

Democrats need to play the "trade wars hurt Americans the most" narrative on repeat against this guy. No way it doesn't resonate in the midwest.

I love how all the Republicans who whine endlessly about "socialism" and "big government" are silent on their leader saying things like "Our great American companies are hereby ordered..." and "I am ordering all carriers...".

Or do they think it's okay because it's fascism from a white supremacist?

(Note: I'm just fine with the President making sure companies obey the law. But that's not what The Chosen Tatrum-Thrower is doing.)

Amazing, and a real testament to the critical thinking of the typical voter, that this man has double-digit net favorability on "the economy."

That's assuming that they care enough though. Of course, if it is as it looks and is directly affecting them negatively, they probably will care.

Authoritarianism is his mantra. He's shrewd... he knows that the idea of US companies ditching China is popular (he doesn't mention that they go to Vietnam, Indonesia, and not back here). But he knows it's popular so he puts that little birdie in your mind. "Gee, if we did live in a dictatorship, that could be ordered, and wouldn't that be nice?" The goal in the long run is to undermine support for a free society. It's the same goal as Xi Jinping!

He's en-route to France for a contentious G7 meeting, and mid-Atlanticbefore getting on the plane, he's tweeting about US TV ratings.

(Corrected, as apparently he hadn't left yet.)

My guess is that we recognize Tweets written by staffers by their proper capitalization?
