Andrzej Lepper, the radical farmer's leader scored ~16%
Marek Borowski, Social Democrat endorsed by present president Kwasniewski ~10%.

Second round runoff between Kaczynski and Tusk: Sunday October 23rd.

Borowski is from that Social Democrat splinter that failed to get into parliament. The offical party's candidate had dropped out. Anyways Borowski would have had my vote.

Tusk: 38%
Kaczynski: 32%

I think with 90%+ of the vote counted it is Tusk 36% Kaczynski 33%.  Tusk doing a good deal worse than expected.

Tusk: 36,33%
Kaczynski: 33,1%


Polish polls are not better than dutch polls...

Some polls have Tusk having a lead of 51-49 in the runoff other has him leading 55-45.
