1. Do you anticipate any conflicts of interest, etc. in being both Assembly Speaker and Treasury Sec., and if so, how would you manage these conflicts?

2. Governor ReaganClinton has expressed on discord, repeatedly, his view that you are not active enough in your current role of being both Assembly Speaker and SOS. What Assurances can you give the assembly that your activity levels will improve as you move into this new role of Treasury Secretary?

3. Is it important for the Region of Lincoln to have a balanced budget, assuming the economy is stable and we are not at war?

1. I do not see any serious conflicts of interest between holding both of these offices as I view advising on economic policy can enhance my actions serving in Lincoln's government, and that the duties of Speaker and Secretary do not interfere with eachnother performance-wise.
2. I apologize for any slump in activity recently, but I am able to shift more of my attention to governing over the next weeks, and I will deliver on it.
3. Keeping the budget balanced absolutely is a priority during a time of economic growth and peace, and I will carefully scrutinize any spending increases and cuts in order to maintain fiscal responsibility while keeping our government programs working for the common good of the people.
