- Reefer Madness (1936) - Cult classic
- The Crow (1994) - Cult classic, also in honor of lead actor Brandon Lee who was killed on set
- Boys Don't Cry (1999) - About the murder of Brandon Teena, a young transgender man; Roger Ebert praised it as one of the best films of 1999
