What about Catholic adoption agencies? If we're providing federal funds for adoption then we cannot deprive these agencies of their funds. Otherwise we run afoul of Equal protection.

This is contrary to the welfare of the child. If a single person were to adopt? These are big changes. Ultimately, the agencies should be able to screen people to prevent children from being abused. Removing these screenings are going to put children at risk.

If they're discriminating against LGBTQ people, they don't get federal funds. That would make the federal government an accessory in discrimination against LGBTQ people. But I forgot you don't believe LGBTQ people are deserving of equal protection, given what you've said publicly and in private.

Actually, this is one of the bill's best aspects. But I forgot you don't believe single parents are deserving of equal protection, as evidenced by the bill you submitted to the Southern Chamber.
