Was Don Bacon the Mysterious GOP Candidate?

Lots of speculation as to who the GOP Putin collaborator was. The site linked to suggests it was Bacon. If not personally, someone in his campaign. 

This could blow the roof off the NE-2 race.

Cook: Yeah, of course, you see, the district is +4R, and having such a strong incumbent in Don Bacon makes the race Safe R, especially with the weak Kara, since everyone knows that the previous congressman Ashford who lost to Bacon in 2016 would be very strong, not to mention....Wait, are you being sarcastic?

I would think he wouldn't be stupid enough to think he'd need outside help in such a Republican district.

Bacon and Mast, though, both ran in swing districts held by Democrats before they were elected. Given what is known, they would make the most sense.

The Omaha-World-Herald seems to have a deep, deep love for the death penalty for no reason except acting like it's important for a newspaper to be "TOUGH ON CRIME" and "GIVE CRIMINALS WHAT THEY DESERVE". Sad!

The D-Trip doesn't act based on winning elections but on whether their selection wins. Eastman won't be on their red to blue list for that reason. I hope I am wrong.
