Hard Core Conservatives from Michigan and Ohio have had enough of the republican party.

The Michigan and Ohio GOPS are furious with the party as they are no-longer putting real conservatives up for election. The Republicans are no longer conservative, they're just "not quite as liberal" as the Democrats. But the democrats have exploited this position particularly in Michigan by picking democrats that are Conservatives (and i mean REALLY Conservative) than the Republicans.

Letters and phonecalls have been made to reassure the GOPs supporters in MI and OH but the supporters arent having any of it. The contract with America got the party mobilized but the party has dropped the ball.

One hardcore conservative sent his letter to the GOP but also the local press

Reasons of jumping:
1) Blatant violation of the constitution by imprisoning US Citizens arrested in the US by civilian law enforcement, turned over to the military held without charge nor trial for years ... my single biggest beef, I realize most tend to gloss over this, but the implications are HUGE! Much larger than an budget conciderations.

2) Budget/spending conciderations, farm bill, prescription drugs, Dept Homeland Security, transportation bill, no child left behind, etc. etc.

3) Iraq

4) The lack of integrity (lying about the price tag of prescription drugs, violating congressional rules to get it passed), Iraq.

5) Largest increase in non-military discretional spending in decades.

6) Largest increase in deficits in decades.

7) Rep have totaly control of the federal gov't, and given that, their true colors come out.
