In Trumps defense, that's not what he said.

The timing by Mueller to indict those 12 Russian intelligence (gov) officials is perfect.
It gives trump and his boss, Putin, plenty of things to discuss in their meeting in Helsinki.
LOL.

LOL.

It is a message, from the United States establishment (aka. 'The Deep State') to the Russians.

I wonder what Ronald Reagan would do if he were back from the dead, and he found out that the Republican party were a puppet of Russia and working to destroy NATO and the liberal democratic international order? He would be enraged to say the least.

Our so called European allies have been far too reliant on us for too long; it's time to shift our diplomatic focus to Africa and Asia. Europe is fading

Reagan is probably turning over in his grave over what the Republican party has turned into.

Good, start by applying this logic to Israel which recieves tens of billions of dollars in US aid for its military for being in an economically and strategically irrelevant part of the globe.

that works too; i feel that our foreign policy would be better served acting like the ME and europe don'y exist and instead build ties elsewhere

I was at the protest in London, it was awesome and lovely. Trump has actually united Remainers & Brexiteers in their hatred of him. Amazing. I still can't believe the President of the United States was triggered by a small balloon.

They're saying 250,000 were there, I have no idea where that came from, it seemed more like 60k-100k. The placards were epic.

Also, credit where credit is due to Fox News:

On behalf of the United States of America, thank you for participating in the protest against trump. 60k-100k people, in a foreign country (outside the US) is a huge number.
The Orange Slug deserved "the welcome" that you and London gave him.

Also, credit where credit is due to Fox News:

This is the first that I am hearing/seeing this story.
When you watch that video (click on the link within the Tweet above), you just shake your head that a head of state (our President) would conduct himself in such a childish and unprofessional manner.
We as Americans should be ashamed and embarrassed, in that his immature actions/words are being displayed for the entire world to see.
Any reasonable person watching that video at home would come to the same conclusion: Assh**e! (Said in all languages around the globe.)
One thing is certain .... Londoners sure got that giant-Orange-Baby-trump-balloon correct.

Also: Good to see John Roberts at Fox News stand-up to fair reporting and for all of the media.

America is generally embarrassed by Republican presidents. Trump's shenenigans are no different than what happened under serial liars and fraudsters like Bush Jr. and Reagan. All 3 were clowns who's presidency was propped up by the average white GOP voters who see Obama as weak for intellectually negotiating the Iran deal but view Trump as strong for blowing Kim Jon Un by making photo ops while acting tough with no substance or results.

Remember when Brexit fanatics were smugly asserting that Trump is an Anglophile who would give the UK favourable deals cause he loves us so much? Bit different now that Donald has decided to publicly cuck our PM.

America was in far better shape when it comes to foreign policy under Reagan than when compared to Carter.

If it were not for the tariffs I would have approved of Trump policy when it comes to Europe but since he has placed Tarrifs on them I disapprove.

Real nice. Maybe the next time they need help we'll sit back and watch them do it alone.
