Who do you believe will be the next justice to leave the court? When will it occur? Implications?

Provided no deaths, either CT in 2021 after a Trump re-election or RBG and Breyer the same year under a hypothetical Dem President. Alito I think will stick around another decade or so, he’s only 68

Probably Ginsburg via retirement in 2021 under a new Democratic president, or God forbid, passes away before the end of Trump's term or the end of his second term if he is reelected.

If Trump is reelected, I could see Thomas retiring not long after that.

Thomas next year, unless Ginsburg or Breyer kick off before then.

Ginsburg in 2021. If Trump is re-elected, she will just have to deal with the fact that she stupidly didn't retire immediately after Obama's re-election. Obviously, I hope that we have a Dem president and a Dem majority in the Senate.
