were the Beatles like One Direction?

Very similar in the sense that these two music groups play pop music, and there are four members in One Direction, just like the Beatles, and they are both British.

James Corden did a carpool karaoke with Paul McCartney through Liverpool. With 23 minutes it was one (maybe even) the longest carpool session and I usually don't watch such long YouTube videos, but every minute was worth it.
It's really worth watching. It was a tour of Liverpool itself, but also around Paul's child house, plus they visited the street Penny Lane, where Paul singed a painted street sign (haptic street signs of that street don't exist). At the end Paul and James played a suspire gig at a pub.
The carpool session was so emotional that James started to cry and there was a breathless, eerie silence in the car for a moment.

George.

Crimnally underrated and undervalued as a songwriter- Here comes the Sun, Within You Without You, while my guitar gently weeps are all amazing songs and some of the best work done by the Beatles.

My favourite Beatles song is by George- I Me Mine, which is a basically an angry break up song and was the last song ever recorded by the Beatles.
