He is correct. The values of Donald Trump are the values of modern American conservatism. Every conservative Republican candidate should be considered to share Trump's values.

Well it is certainly clear by now that conservatives have learned by now that getting in Trump's good graces involving a generous amount of ego stroking.

But we'll see what conservatives have to say about this 10 years from now, when the fallout from the Trump era has settled. None of this is "free," after all. The GOP will pay a price for the way they went about pushing their "values" on America. You don't just let someone like Trump take over your party and expect things to go back to the way they were after he leaves. After Hurricane Donald has come and gone, the GOP will have to reckon with a whole new generation of young people who have seen only one side of their party, and that is arguably the ugliest side of the Republican Party in many, many decades.

Anyone who has more admiration for dictators than for Ronald Reagan or Margaret Thatcher is no conservative.

McConnell is absolutely right. Conservative values  - jingoism, racism, corruption, bigotry, oligarchy, ignorance,  and totalitarianism - have never been better represented than they are today by Donald J. Trump (R-Moscow). Every American voter, every human being on Earth, need only look at Trump and the party he heads to see what American conservatives really stand for.

No wonder McConnell is so thoroughly despised by the bases of both parties. He is without a doubt one of the worst politicians in modern American history, with a record of obstructionism and of petty partisanship.

McTurtle isn't wrong on this one. Trump passed a Tax Cut that was larger than the Kemp-Roth cut of 1981 and the Bush Tax Cuts of 2001 and 2003, he's been more Pro Forced Birth than Reagan and Bush 43, which is saying something because Trump has been all over the place on that issue and it wouldn't surprise me if he payed for any one of his mistresses to get an abortion, and he signed a mess of deregulation into law, likely exceeding the amount Reagan and 43 signed. He's also exceeded the arrogance of the Bush/Cheney administration with regards to Foreign Policy in many respects.

Trump tax cuts are not larger than Bush's Tax Cuts . Bush tax cuts I believe cut taxes by over 2 trillion dollars , Trump's tax cuts cut taxes by 1.5 trillion. Also the Top Income Tax Cut was cut by a larger % under Bush, Capital Gaines were cut to 15% under Bush and Dividend Rate was cut from 39.6% to 15% under Bush

Also no Bush signed the Partial Birth Abortion Ban, Trump hasnt signed a pro life bill yet and Bush like Trump also reinstated the Mexico City Policy.

It's all about concentrating as much power and wealth in as few hands as is possible, and the rest of Humanity can suffer for it with pretended smiles. We have never had a President who has less exemplified conservative values in personal life since at least the nineteenth century (which would be well hidden then) or free-market principles than Donald Trump.

Trump's economic ideology is Socialism for the Rich, a/k/a crony capitalism.

Chubby little corn turd probably takes it up the a** from Rand while he's sucking Trump's c**k.

(censored some so that the mods don't rape me or my post)

You can criticize McConnell or any other Republican without engaging in homophobia, thanks.

Republicans are masters of hypocricy. Trump is NOT conservative in the tradtional sense. He's a anti-progressive right-wing demagugue and nationalist.

Also, let's not misuse the word rape like that. If you want to be effective in debate and criticizing Trump, avoid junk like this.

There's a time and place for that. This isn't one of those times or places. I understand that you want to in the most severe way possible signal your disdain of the Ideology of Fraud that McConnell spearheads but it can backfire. Trust me. I know.

If we’re talking about post-Obama conservative “values”, he’s not wrong.

I wonder whether the late Reverend Jerry Falwell would have excoriated President Trump for his sordid sex life as much as he excoriated President Clinton for his sordid sex life.

For conservative values in personal life of a President, one need only look to Barack Obama. I just wish that he didn't smoke.
