When do polls close? Or have they already?

They will close in 29 minutes. A few will continue open because of some voter problems.

9 pm but because of issues in a few precincts 7 Ridings  won’t report results right away. Only two-three of them should be particularly interesting though.

The range of possible outcomes is quite something.

Unless the NDP and/or Liberal vote collapses, and it's a PC landslide, we probably won't know where we stand until 11 pm or even later.

General practice though Ontario doesn’t allow voter opinion surveys include exit polls  to be released on Election Day.

Low turnout - not promising for ABF (anyone but Ford):
Turnout as of 7pm was about 44%, PC campaign sources tell me, which puts it on track for about 51%. PCs are happy with that because it suggests there is not an unexpected surge of millennial voters. #onpoli newsinteractives.cbc.ca/onvotes/results

This may be interesting to some of us - the Ontario 2018 Student Vote results: http://studentvote.ca/results/on2018.

Over 250,000 primary and secondary students cast mock ballots as a part of this. Some interesting trends to note here. Overall seat count was 66 NDP, 45 PC, 11 LIB, 2 GRN. Liberal seats concentrated in outer Toronto and Ottawa, with one seat each in Mississauga and Thunder Bay.

Popular vote was 32% NDP, 27% PC, 19% LIB, 13% GRN, 9% Other

NDP appears to be leading in at least one advance poll in Sarnia-Lambton from what I'm seeing on CBC.

Also, Windsor West called for NDP.
