Thank you for all your work, you have been amazing. Indeed real life must come first. I oppose someone else taking the game as I believe it is your game. In my view, the best would be to end it and to start a season 3 next year something like 20 years later. It's going to continue to be an amazing period:
-the passing of benedetto: succession crisis?
-Naples becoming the most capable candidate to unify Naples
-Scandinavia annexing basically Denmark with the Schleswig issue not solved
-Rising nationalism, uprising in Greece?
- Spain and the UK facing increased troubles in their colonies
-The passing of Kosciuszko: what to do next?

Funny how France was omitted from any potential troublesome developments

Well,
I mean I believe that France is probably in the strongest position in Europe, like the UK was at the same time.
What I can see in 20 years is the "liberals" rising in the election occuring 20 years later but it can hardly be considered as troublesome.

So after seeing all the responses I've decided I'll close this turn as normal, posting news updates for 1788 either tomorrow or Friday. After that I will release the start of the final turn, but given the nature of it closing everything up there will be no prompts (just army, economy, political info + maps). You all can use the information to formulate responses etc. and illustrate your long-term goals for the end of the game. Then I'll post some sort of conclusion and summary of the ground that has been covered/changes that have begun. Like last time the time jump will either provide summary up until 1795 or even 1800 and set up the world for any future games (I would think a part 3, if there is ever one, would probably take place around 1810).

Spamage, again amazing job with everything you've done in hosting this game, it was a great experience to be a small part of. I sincerely hope that a third part is possible sometime in the future.

It has now been posted. Certainly it's a bit abbreviated, but all the major developments were largely touched upon.

With the last news update now posted I will accept any projections, goals, aims, etc. that any player had in the game going forward. I'll need enough of these to write a conclusion and wrap everything up.


Rather than draft a new turn, considering the wait I already put everyone through, this will serve as the announcement. Take your time, no hurry.

Once I have sufficient info I'll move forward in shutting this round down conclusively.
