I generally just post additional news stories or crises that would develop during the year. For example, not all events would happen at the end of the previous year. Midturn updates, which only happen occasionally, are for pressing issues that arise.

Congratulations team! As we did not have general European war declared on turn two we have managed to make this game more peaceful than Concert of Europe! I knew we had it in us! I'm sure this state of tranquility will last many many more turns.
