No, although I think following a plan proposed by the British in installing a Sunni strongman as a much more mild dictator would be a better course of action rather than letting the Shiites take over and kiss up to Iran.

Alas, Bush has already destroyed the best-of-a-bad-situation status quo which had existed under Saddam for decades in that miserable land.  Putting Saddam back may or may not return Iraq to those better days, but at least it would show that Americans understood the error of their ways, and would try to eschew such fascistic aggressions in the future.

Oh, and btw, Jake, I'm back in paradise, and I'm happy to report it hasn't met its inevitable destruction (Americanization/prudization), quite yet.
