I’m disappointed that she apologized for speaking the truth.

Don’t ever play the woman card, you crumb.

I’ll play every card in the deck, you Republican.

That's fine and good.  I have no problem with folks playing the woman card.  This is Atlas Forum after all.

I'll play the decency card.  Folks do this in public, they get dinged.  If they're Samantha Bee, they get dinged by sponsors.

When Trump gets dinged for going off the rails, he can defend himself.  He gets dinged at the ballot box.

If you really believe that, you are some combination of deluded and dangerous.  I'm serious; folks who really believe this need help.

Anyone who truly, literally, believes this statement has a loose relationship with reality.  To say one is in error about casting a vote is one thing.  To say that everyone has no decency that voted for Trump is evidence of serious over-politicization of a human mind.

Anybody who believes this comment is blind to reality and is as stupid as Fuzzy Bear.  The entire argument here is based on 'normalcy bias': ultimately Trump was just another candidate on the ballot, essentially no different than any other candidate.  One has to be really stupid to be that blind to reality.

As for 'over-politicization' you're the one who comments on and argues in favor of Trump's made up distractions such as on NFL players kneeling during the national anthem.

Clearly not given how he didn't defend himself on most things and pole-vaulted past 16 Republicans fairly and managed to get the correct states to the point that getting dinged didn't even matter in the GE.

Don’t hit yourselves in the forehead with your fists. If you want to pleasure yourselves, there are a lot better sites than Atlas Forum to help you along.

Like I said, should've just called it acceptable in Britain and gone on her merry way.

Look at Michelle Wolf, she went for it remorselessly [far as I know], the far-right was hysterical for a minute...and then news moved on.

Anybody who voted for Trump has no decency.

Or has no room to talk, at the very least.

If you can't imagine of how a decent person could vote for a major party, it says more about your lack of imagination and/or ideological blinders than it does about the character of said person. And I'm not even a Trump supporter.

To be fair Samantha Bee apologized so she could keep her show, her viewers, her sponsors, etc. Michelle Wolf has a show on Netflix but that is not as much at the mercy of the cable ratings system, so she had the luxury to walk away without much comeuppance.

I fully agree with this. I would say the exact same thing if someone on the right side of the political spectrum made a similar claim about those who voted for Hillary Clinton. I know people who voted for Trump or for Clinton, and they are good people. These kinds of blanket statements are helpful to no one.

No, what your post says is that you have normalcy bias and false equivalence bias.

Amazing how so many Trump supporters who were screaming “F*** your feelings” two years ago are so triggered by a little profanity.
