Anyone who associates theme self with Trump ruins their image.

Honestly, what did he expect?

I'm a long-time Red Sox fan, and even I have to feel some respect for Yankee fans right now.

There's only one Giuliani, but the rather literal interpretation is an interesting one.

It's been a long time since he left office and even longer since he last won an election. Any approval people had for him is long gone. He hasn't been a positive figure like some former elected officials end up being.

So very few people on the planet have an opportunity for their name to live on, after our physical body is gone. In the USA, some of our presidents have this opportunity. Giuliani had a shot for some name-immortality in New York (City). As we get older (old) we see and recognize this more and more as we age, and Rudy is not exception.

But instead he decided to throw-it-all-away and be part of the Big Top Circus. But why?
It's just insane to me, that someone would want to destroy their entire life's work for this Orange and deranged Clown.

October 29, 1997 - Giuliani Approval, Satisfaction With City Hit New Highs, Quinnipiac College Poll Finds; Mayor's Lead Over Messinger Nears 2 - 1

Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's approval rating has edged up to an all-time 68 - 28 percent high, matching a record of 70 percent of New Yorkers who are "very satisfied" or "somewhat satisfied" with life in the city, according to a Quinnipiac College Poll released today.

The Mayor's highest ever approval rating was 74 - 23 percent in a February 11, 1998, poll by the independent Quinnipiac University. It stood at 60 -33 percent November 18, 1998. By April 19, 2000, his approval was a negative 37 - 57 percent, his lowest ever.

Like, he's obviously very unpopular nowadays. (much like Trump)
But there existed a time he was popular.

Popular (I guess) among the small group of voters who bother to turnout in the NYC mayoral elections.

Guliani had a high approval rating in the late 90s for the same reason Clinton did: a booming economy and declining crime rate he had nothing to do with.

True (in the 1993 mayoral election), but he played a visible role as mayor of New York City during the September 11 attacks. The people in our nation, and especially those in New York City, will forever remember that tragic day.
I'm almost certain that in NYC, he would not be booed if he had not attached himself to this Orange Imbecile. The first huge disappointment to me, was seeing how he literally was frothing-at-the-mouth during the Rep Natl Convention; I was beside myself in disbelief, and just cant get that out of my mind.

Quick link if you want to see video (hear audio) of Yankee Stadium "booing" him (and remember this was on his exact birthday, while he sat in the stadium) ...

The Guliani myth of Americans mayor during 9/11 was one of the great bullshít stories of our time. One of the major reasons so many firefighters died on 9/11 was because Guliani avoided upgrading their radio systems due to corruption:

Giuliani is still popular on S.I. and Southern Brooklyn.....you say anything bad about Rudy in S.I., you have to leave the island or hop on the MTA's S.I. bus.

Yankee Stadium fans are moderate to bystander people....Giuliani's association with Trump is damaging his legacy.
