The economy is stagnet,  tax cuts haven't worked. The Senate was always a stretch anyways.  But,  there is 25 districts that can be picked up

Of course his funky, tired played out behind would say that. You really think he's not going to delude his party into thinking that they won't lose seats?.

He leaves out MS, TN,  AZ and NV as vulnerable takeaways,  especially AZ.

2.3% Q1, 2.8% Q2 (projected). Tax cuts have been saving me noticeably more money with each pay check. No offense but I don’t think socialists are good people to take advice on the economy from

Approval for the Tax Bill has steadily declined since its peak early in the year. It’s now a net liability.

Yes, but the tax cuts went disproportionately to the wealthy,  and we still have people on welfare and in poverty.  Due to the increase in cyber jobs and decrease in manufacturing. McConnell's wife works for Labor Department

I doubt the tax bill will be a political asset or liability in 90% of competitive elections. The American public slightly disapproves of it, but is not considered important to many voters. The 10% will be in wealthy areas where the SALT deduction was heavily utilized, like northern NJ, NY, and VA-10, and extremely red states where Democratic senators are trying to win reelection.

Nobody cares about that stuff. The midterms are wholly a referendum on Trump and his behavior. Everything else is irrelevant

Your eggs haven’t hatched yet, Mitch. And once they do, don’t be surprised if the resulting chickens come home to roost.

It's really pointless to take anything party leaders like the turtle say seriously. They will say or do anything to help their cause, even if it's as useless as bragging about polls or playing the expectations game. Not to mention the enormous conflict of interest they have, where signaling that their party is competitive or has an advantage is useful for milking their sugar daddies for campaign checks. That is why I could really care less what Pelosi or Schumer have to say regarding the election, let alone people like Ryan, McConnell and especially the Donald.

That's no better than quarterly GDP growth under the Obama administration
