I was going to post this on the new ideas thread, but I thought for greater coverage, and to allow a poll I'd make a thread.

I've got a month to kill now that uni is over, and I've thought for a while about hosting a game on here, after seeing how popular and well received Lumine's games have been.  I was just unsure what people would be most interested in, and I've got several different ideas.

1.) British General Election: This would be the easiest, and would make the most sense (as it's the one I know the most about). I'd probably do either 2017, 2015 or even a hypothetical 2018 election.  I'm just unsure how many people would want to take part.

2.)Historic US Election: I'd want it to be pre-2000 but still within the modern era. I'm currently thinking of 1984 (where Reagan doesn't run), or 1992.

3.) Post 1990's International: A much shorter game, either based on the Gulf War, or the War on Terror after 2001. Would be the wildcard option.

Please a 1992 Game. It would be interesting to see a player not choosing Buba for the Dems

If you do 2000 I'll play. I had fun the one time I played a 2000 Election game (then again, that may have been because my character, Tom Daschle, ended up being the Democratic Party's nominee).

I believe we've had too many US based games for now, it would be fantastic to see either options 1 or 3 and I would play either of those.

Good point - I'd be on board with either of those two  as well.

I think the reason is the majority of players are American/US people and it's a main fact that we don't know any other World leaders nor do we know any politicians outside our Senators

It is understandable, but the board has had a tendency to be almost exclusively US election games lately (there's still some ongoing) and it certainly wouldn't hurt to see something different.

I would absolutely love a British General Election, if I could suggest one I'd suggest 2015, that seems like it'd be the most fun to me.

Yeah I'd be absolutely useless at a Canadian election game.

I'm currently minded to do 2015 as a test run.

Please do! I'd love to reserve UKIP if possible.

if we do a British GE, I would like to play the Lib Dems. It would be fun (especially if it's 2015 we're doing).

I would love if anyone could do a 2000 or even a 2008 game, we haven't had any good ones of those thus far.

We had a great 2000 game way back in 2014 (I was Tom Daschle).

We've also had several good 2008 games, some of which I've been part of, and some of which I haven't.
