ITT I think a lot of people are underestimating how close Florida will be

Rick Scott is a two term governor with ~60% favorability ratings (almost twenty points above Trump), eight figures of his own money to donate, good connections with big donors, and a knack for winning close elections




100% agree here. The best candidates are not always the candidates who won by landslides in previous elections in different offices. Rick Scott is very much tested in close races. His popularity went way up after handling the hurricane last fall and he has plenty of $$$ to spread his message.

At very least Rick Scott in Florida probably stops national Democrats from pouring money in the Texas Senatorial contest.

Here is another scary thought: What if another major hurricane hits Florida this fall and Rick Scott is perceived to have done a great job handling it again[... ugh...

wow cocaine Mitch was able to list states with competitive races(not even in order) good for him he is such a capable leader.
